Egentify’s AI support agent cancels orders and updates shipping addresses for your customers. Connecting Ordoro lets it check whether an order has already shipped before doing either, and where your Ordoro account allows it, recall the supplier purchase order when a cancellation goes through. For what the connection changes across your whole account, see the fulfillment overview.

What you need

An Ordoro client ID and client secret, created from an Ordoro API key. The Get keys link on the Egentify card points to Ordoro’s guide.
API access requires an Ordoro Premium plan or above. If Ordoro rejects your credentials and you are sure they are correct, check your plan first.

Connect Ordoro

1

Turn Ordoro on

In your Egentify dashboard, go to Store Settings > Integrations and toggle Ordoro on.
2

Enter and save your credentials

Fill in Client ID and Client Secret, then save. Both are stored encrypted.
3

Verify to map your cart

Click Verify channel. The button stays disabled until your credentials are saved.

Mapping your Ordoro cart

Ordoro calls each connected sales channel a cart, and one account can hold several. Egentify needs to know which cart holds this store’s orders so a lookup for order #1001 cannot land on a different storefront’s order. When you verify, Egentify fetches your carts, tries to match one by comparing its configured URL to your store address, then confirms it can find one of your five most recent orders there. If the match is ambiguous, pick your cart from the list. Getting this right is what makes the safety check trustworthy. A wrong cart returns “order not found”, which reads the same as “order not shipped”, and that is the mistake that would let a shipped order be cancelled and refunded.

What is specific to Ordoro

Cancelling can recall the supplier purchase order. Where ShipStation’s cancellation only changes the order status, Ordoro’s can reach the supplier, so a dropshipped order is genuinely stopped rather than just marked cancelled.
Ask Ordoro to enable dropship cancellation on your account. Until they do, a cancellation will not reach your supplier and you should contact the supplier yourself.
Supplier contact details are surfaced. Where Ordoro provides a supplier email, Egentify shows it to your team alongside the supplier name, so anyone handling the ticket knows exactly who to contact. Dropshipped orders stay address-editable before they ship, which is not true of ShipStation. Rate limits are generous at around 500 requests per minute, so you are unlikely to notice them.

When something goes wrong

“Ordoro rejected those credentials.” Re-enter your client ID and secret, and confirm your Ordoro plan includes API access. “Couldn’t auto-match, choose your cart below.” The cart’s configured URL in Ordoro does not match your store address, or the cart has no URL configured. Pick it manually. “Mapped to X, but no recent order was found there.” Either the cart is wrong, or your orders have not synced into Ordoro yet. Cancellations stay protected until this clears.
Rotating your credentials, changing the mapped cart, or changing your project’s store URL all clear the verified status. Click Re-verify afterwards, or cancellations will stay blocked.
