Follow the steps below to go from zero to a live AI support agent on your storefront in about five minutes. By the end, your customers will see an Egentify chat widget and your AI agent will be ready to handle questions, look up orders, and escalate to your team when needed. Choose your platform to get started.

Install the Egentify app

Go to the Shopify App Store and search for Egentify. Click Install and accept the requested permissions. Shopify will redirect you back to your admin once the installation is complete.

Connect your Egentify project

In your Shopify Admin, open the Egentify app. Click Connect to Egentify to link the app to your Egentify project at egentify.com. If you don’t have an account yet, you’ll be prompted to create one for free.

Enable the chat widget

In your Shopify Admin, go to Online Store → Themes, click Customize, then open App Embeds. Toggle on the Egentify Chat Widget to embed it in your theme. Click Save to publish the change.

Configure your agent (optional)

In Egentify → Settings, customize the agent name, welcome message, and starter buttons that customers see when they open the chat. Changes take effect immediately.

Verify on your storefront

Visit your live storefront. The chat widget appears in the bottom-right corner. Send a test message to confirm your AI agent is responding.
The Free plan includes 50 AI conversations per month and no credit card is required. You can upgrade at any time from the Billing section of your Egentify dashboard.
