Egentify uses flat-rate pricing with no per-resolution or per-agent fees — you pay a predictable monthly amount based on your conversation volume and team size. If you installed Egentify through the Shopify App Store, your subscription is billed through Shopify; otherwise it is processed securely through Stripe.

Exceeding your plan limits

Egentify does not bill overages. If you exceed your monthly conversation or voice minute limit, you’ll need to upgrade to a higher plan to keep handling new traffic. The Free plan is hard-capped — once you reach 50 conversations for the month, the AI will stop responding to new chats until your limit resets. Upgrade to a paid plan to avoid interruptions to your customer support. If you regularly exceed the limits on the Scale plan, contact us to set up a custom plan. Voice minutes are available starting on the Growth plan. Minutes do not roll over between billing periods.

Managing your subscription

Go to Billing

From your org dashboard at egentify.com, click Billing in the left sidebar.

Review your usage

View your current plan, how many conversations you’ve used this month, and your next renewal date.

Change your plan

Click Change plan to upgrade or downgrade. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated for the remainder of your billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period.

Access invoices

Click Billing history to download past invoices for your records.

Shopify billing

If you installed Egentify from the Shopify App Store, your subscription is managed through Shopify rather than directly through Egentify. To change your plan, go to your Shopify admin and navigate to Apps > Egentify > Manage billing. Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice — you will not receive a separate invoice from Egentify or Stripe.
Monitor your conversation usage from the Billing page before you hit your limit. You can upgrade mid-cycle and the cost is prorated — so you only pay for the days remaining in the month.
